Unfortunately, Apple does not give the possibility to apps to change their icons dynamically.
You can ask Apple to add this possibility by leaving them feedback
here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.
You can, however, add a red badge onto the icon by setting Settings > Miscellaneous > Badge to "show current day".
